Static Column For Display on Card Without Slicer Interference

Hi All

I careated a column 

Hours per Day = 8

And I want to show this as it is on a Card, showing the number 8. 

But given that I have a slicer in the same page, it shows a number like 8616 which varies based on the date slicer that I have. How can I show only 8 and use that value from the card elsewhere?

We can use this static measure in other measure or calculate column such as following formula:

TotalHour = COUNTROWS('Table') * [Hours per Day]

I changed it to measure instead of column and it solved the first problem.
