Hi All,
I need to change the slicer setting.
The above image the slicer is set in Multi-Select and Show all is on.
If select all option it shows all the data correctly.
But in above Image i deselect all the filter this time also showing all the data.
I need to set if i deselect all means that table visual is blank.
How to do?
Is this possible?
Please help me.
Thanks in advance.

@Anonymous
If I can interest you in using an alternative slicer visual, namely "Hierarchical Filter", then the behaviour seems to be what you were looking for.
The problem with the Core Slicer visual is that "Select All" has the same effect as clearing all selections (confirmed by examining the DAX queries for the table visual).
There could be other methods but this seems a convenient one 🙂

The only method I can suggest is to write a measure that detects whether a filter has been applied on the slicer field, and apply this measure a visual-level filter on the table.
PBIX example attached.
In my PBIX, I created this measure:
Name Filtered =
INT (
CALCULATE (
ISFILTERED ( Data[Name] ),
ALLSELECTED ()
)
)
Then added it as a visual filter to the table (set equal to 1):
Hi @OwenAuger ,
Thanks for your reply.
This is working good.
But if i select all option now also that table is blank.
I need if i click select all the table shows all the records.

@Anonymous ,
no because you're displaying data anyway and the filter is for filtering this data not to insert or show the data.
the data is there by default.

Hi @Anonymous
No , That's no way possible.
Select all = No data is selected
Both the meaning is same in power bi
"You cant show blank value in table when nothing is selected"
If my post helps please give kudos and accept it as a solution!
Thanks
HEllo @Anonymous ,
it won't show blank, it will show the normal data which is all data unless it's filtered.
