    If I can interest you in using an alternative slicer visual, namely "Hierarchical Filter", then the behaviour seems to be what you were looking for.

     

     

    The problem with the Core Slicer visual is that "Select All" has the same effect as clearing all selections (confirmed by examining the DAX queries for the table visual).

     

    There could be other methods but this seems a convenient one 🙂

Sorry, I missed the "select all" requirement. That actually makes it trickier, as "Select all" is equivalent to clearing the slicer at the moment.

 

I will take a look and get back to you.
