Hello,
I need to do simple forecast based on current sale and time left to end of month.
I have 4 short tables:
Office table
Office name | Office ID
Tate table
Date | Day of week
Sales table
Date | Office ID | Sale value
Hours when offices are open
Office ID|Day of week|Noumber of Hours
Actualy I just show sales over date perr office but I need to add forecast.
For example:
We have 2019-03-24 - sales of current month is '150 000', offices were open 150hours in total. To end of month it is left 50hours. Soo sales per hour is (150 000/150) = 1000. So forecast will be 100*50=50 000 (+150 000).
How too do this in power bi (dax) and how to spread this value (50k) for days between 25-31.
I want to show on char value of sale day by day from 1-24 march and forecast from 25-31.
Please help. (sorry for my bad english 😄 )
Hi @Lokisame
"forecast from 25-31" should be average for each days, let to say
forecast
3/25 5000/7,
3/26 5000/7
Right?
Best Regards
Maggie
It can be spread like that. I will recalculate it later anyway.
