Hello everyone.
I don't know if it's the correct section but it's part of the family. I have a problem with a report in report builder.
Let me start by saying that I have to export to Word, and it already has its limitations. I should put a sidebar on the left side of each page with a fixed text. I have several tables that I don't know how many pages they can generate, this depends on the data of each dataset connected to the tables. I tried to hook the text box with repeat with of a tablix, it created a background image but Word doesn't digest it, to put everything in the rectangle. I mean, I've tried a lot but I can't do something so stupid. Has anyone had the same problem?
This is what I should have on every page
Thank you all
I had an idea but it only half works. I'll show you the screen below.
I thought about putting a subreport with all my tables inside a single table. the problem is that I can't repeat the header or the static row. I add that I only have one detail row because as a dataset I put a generate row dax with one row.
Are there any ideas that can help me?
thank you all
Hi @Anonymous ,
Try adding a static column to the table as a sidebar. Make sure the column is set to recur on every page. This will work if the table is the main content on each page.
Or if the report design and layout allow, the report can be divided into sections, with the first column of each section serving as a sidebar.
If it is possibe, can you provide a screenshot with details about your report layout, etc.?

Thanks for your answer @v-junyant-msft .
Yes, this technique works if you export the report to PDF or if you watch it online. But when I export to Word the column does not repeat on all pages, but only on the first.
