Show/ Hide Date slicer

Hello everyone!

I have a dropdown list called Date Range (left side) I'm looking for a way to show or hide the date_range (right side).

For example, If I select "Sunset time", the orange date_range is not displayed. Otherwise, if I select "Night time", the black date_range is not displayed. Is there a way to achieve this? Thank you!

Hi @Amyrie_m , hello PijushRoy, thank you for your prompt reply!

As far as I know, there is no property that directly control the visibility of visuals.

As a workaroud, we can create measures that format the button Text colour to a transparent #FFFFFF00 to indirectly hide it.

Make Transparent =
IF(

         SELECTEDVALUE('SpecialDates'[Period])="Sunset time",
"#FFFFFF00", -- returns transparent if condition is True
         "orange")

Make Transparent2 =
         IF(
         SELECTEDVALUE('SpecialDates'[Period])="Night time",
"#FFFFFF00", -- returns transparent if condition is True
         "blank")

Then use the relevant measures to format the style of visuals:

Hi @Amyrie_m

Can you please share more details about the right-side function? how it is working.
If you share a sample PBIX file link (google drive/noteone/sharepoint/box), it will be super helpful to analyze to provide a solution quickly
