SharePoint Folder - receives updated extracts every 2 weeks and replaces the old extracts

I am trying to create a Power BI report that is connected to a SharePoint Site/Folder.

The folder "Latest Reports" has 6 different extracts with different information within each.
All extracts are replaced with newly downloaded extracts every 2 weeks within this Latest Reports folder. I need a safe way to link this data to Power BI and still be able to have it pull in the most recent extracts. Currently, it is not recognizing the new extracts when i refresh and it still is linked to the old set of extracts. How should I be connecting to this data set to have it automatically update with the newest extracts information when I click refresh within the Power BI Desktop?

Hi @skthomas2010 Use the SharePoint Folder option in Get Data and filter the folder path to include only the "Latest Reports" files. Combine and transform the files, ensuring consistent structure across all extracts. When new files replace old ones every two weeks, Power BI will automatically detect and load the updated files during a refresh. Publish to the Power BI Service for automated refresh schedules or refresh manually in Desktop as needed.

@skthomas2010 Well, it does matter if each report has different column headers, but you can still combine them with some extra steps. Power BI will try to match columns based on their names, but you can use Power Query to standardize the columns and fill missing values. You may need to add custom columns or adjust the data types to ensure consistency.

I am not certain about combining the files. Each extract is a different report, it does not include the same column headers within each report. Does that matter?
