Set default values for a month slicer when loading the report

I have two slicers a month slicer and a year slicer.

The month slicer contains the months from january to december, I want when loading the report the months selected are starting from January to the current month (in this case October) and the remaining months are unchecked and the current year which 2021 to be checked automatically.

If I switch to 2020 or 2019 or..., the months from January to December are checked.

@amirabedhiafi , Power bi does not allow any function to initialize. So you need to have columns like this and save them on this month and this year .

You can use month in place of month year

Month Type = Switch( True(),
eomonth([Date],0) = eomonth(Today(),-1),"Last Month" ,
eomonth([Date],0)= eomonth(Today(),0),"This Month" ,
Format([Date],"MMM-YYYY")
)

Year Type = Switch( True(),
year([Date])= year(Today()),"This Year" ,
year([Date])= year(Today())-1,"Last Year" ,
Format([Date],"YYYY")
)
