Hello,
I would like to connect sales data with spend from facebook / google ads. In sales data, I have information about visitors including utm parameters, cookies, dates, etc.
My issue is that I would like to know which campaign has the best performance and what was cost per lead. Is it possible to connect(?) both platforms and get correct values? Or is impossible to connect FB pixel and cookies and then drill in PBI?
For example campaign x generates 10 leads and costs 250 usd.
Thanks
Power BI is a powerful reporting and visualization tool, and Salesforce is a mighty CRM tool. They can efficiently work together, interchanging the data. Depending on your level of expertise, you can choose which way you will integrate them. I opted to use a third-party provider Windsor.ai with their connector to pull the data from Salesforce and other CRM or marketing platforms (Facebook, Google, Bing) and put them together.
Usually, I use one of their templates and then customize it in Power BI Desktop to suit my needs, adding new fields, measures, and filters.
