Advocate IIPower BI is a powerful reporting and visualization tool, and Salesforce is a mighty CRM tool. They can efficiently work together, interchanging the data. Depending on your level of expertise, you can choose which way you will integrate them. I opted to use a third-party provider Windsor.ai with their connector to pull the data from Salesforce and other CRM or marketing platforms (Facebook, Google, Bing) and put them together.
Usually, I use one of their templates and then customize it in Power BI Desktop to suit my needs, adding new fields, measures, and filters.
