Hi,
Can someone explain why the grand total is not 150 + 275 + 185 + 265 = 875?
I thought SUMX iterates over a table and returns the sum of the expression.

Try this instead
test = SUMX(Sheet1,Sheet1[x] + Sheet1[y])
and check the answer on each row and the total
Think the way you have written the expression is summing the grand total for each record .
I assume you have 5 records on your input table and 5 x 875 = 4375

in test = SUMX(sheet1, x+y) the filter context has changed.
Keep it simple and just use test = X+Y

Yeah just 5 rows and there are no other filters. Oddly enough I'm getting the same result.
