SSAS

Hi All -

I am using the direct query connection to my SSAS cubes. When combining a measure and dimension in any visual (for this case a matrix), I receive an odd error that says : couldn't load data for visual.

Ther error message reads:
Release:
October, 2018

Product Version:
2.63.3272.40262 (18.10) (x64)

Error Message:
Internal error: An unexpected error occurred (file 'pfstringstorekj.cpp', line 1277, function 'PFSFSKJ::LockRecordById').

Any ideas what this means?

Hi @albrechtm9203

Is the problem sloved?

In this scenario, to determine the root cause, you may need to use SQL Server Profiler to monitor your SSAS instance and check the detailed error messages there.

To monitor SSAS instance, please refer to below document:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/analysis-services/instances/use-sql-server-profiler-to-monitor-...

Best Regards

Maggie

update - I found this error is for only one dimension in the cube. This is a linked dimension as most are in the cube with the issues. In the main cube there are no issues with that dimension.
