SQL, Py and R script building outside pbi panel

Would be very useful for those who want to test and verify their script/program in SQL/PY/R to be able to use some outside panel or program connect to power bi desktop.

External for visuals is great, but would be even greater to be able to use an external for coding in power query/query editor.

If you mean the python/r visual, you can set the external ide below. But if you mean the python/r script in query editor, I'm afraid currently power bi doesn't support that.
