Hi Friends,
I have set up RLS based on the user email_id as [Email] = USERPRINCIPALNAME() . In order to get it work i have created a dataset containing the useremail list along with their sales area and than created another table call Sales area where i have created many to one relationship on my emailID dataset. After i publish my dashboard i also need to add all the email ID which i have alread listed on my dataset under dataset-->security option.
What i know is thats a dynamic approach but if it is Dynamic ,why you have to add emailID in security section, once he login power bi should know the user from his login ID and show him the region he belongs ? i mean if i have 50 users do u want me add those 50 users, then it is not dynamic right, can you please help to configure dynamic security in power bi.
Thanks, any help much appriciated.
