Report level filters for user selection

Hello Team,

I need to provide filter on a very first page of a report. Based on the selected value in that filter entire pages(here in my case 9 pages) i.e. report should be sliced. How can I achieve this requirement? 

PS: Report level filter should take input from user.

You can put a slicer on the first page, and then use the "sync slicers" functionality to have the selection carried across the rest of your report pages.

I don't want to put slicers in all pages. Sync functionality needs slicer in every page as per my knowledge...

Not quite - in the Sync Slicers sidebar, you can uncheck slicer visibility (the eye); that will make them invisible, and unable to be accessed by the end user, with no performance impact.

Above said functionality will work for Power BI service as well after publishing it?
