Remove tooltip from Icon

In my report I have a matrix with different statuses shown as icons. Is it possible to remove tooltips for these icons?

You can try to add 100% transparency to the background on your tooltip. This way it all goes.

Hi, this is not the general tooltip for matrix. This is tooltip that shows the value which stands behide the icon conditional formatting. I would like to only show the icon, because for some reason this tooltip is not always working for some cases.

The method I provided earlier works for all tooltips in the entire matrix, both for conditional formatting and the original data in the matrix.
But if you want to turn off the tooltip for Conditional formatting only and keep the tooltip for the rest of the data in the matrix, I'm sorry to say that this is not possible at the moment. Because Desktop doesn't support setting the status of tooltip for a specific cell or a specific row or column, it only supports setting the status of tooltip for the whole visual object.

Hi, Thanks to your answers, I was able to get to the bottom of the issue. You're right. I tested yours solution in the latest version of Power BI and it works. Unfortunately, I need to work in the old version of Power BI Desktop for Report Server, where disabling the tooltip in the matrix doesn't turn off conditional formatting fooltip. Moreover, it works only partially; for some elemnts it works, but for others, it doesn't. It's a bug in this version probably.
