Hi,
I'm trying to use the related function in tableB which looks like this
age = related(tableA'age')
Also, both the tables are joined based on a key column.
Still, the related function doesn't show the age column automatically and the above-caclulated column throws an error.

Sorry, I couldn't share the client data model, but when I used related function in the primary fact table it works.
When I was trying to create that in dimension table I was getting the above error.

You'd better nest the RELATED() function into a FILTER() statement, then implement the table scanning function. Please refer to doc about RELATED().

@Anonymous that make sense, fact will be on the many side of the relationship and dim is on one side for the relationship and that's exactly my first reply was, not sure why you think it started working now.
