Hi,
I have a power BI report on a sharepoint list.
I have recently deleted some columns in the list and when I try and refresh the Power BI report it fails and I get the message:
TableName
The column 'name of recently deleted column' of the table wasn't found.
I have gone into the data view and deleted the column but that has not resolved the issue.
Can you help please?
Thanks
Phil
Solved! Go to Solution.
The deleted column may be referenced in the Steps in Power Query. Possibly at an earlier step.
Recommend trying opening Power Query, select the table that you removed the column from, select "Advanced Editor" and see if you can see the removed column name referenced in the code, if it's there, just delete reference to it where possible.
It's likely it's been left over from a filter columns operation.
That did it thank you.
