Reference labels on New Card Visual autoformat numbers (column type: Text) - no way to change it?!

I have a New Card Visual where I need to provide a year for reference. Since some of the years are with text (i.e. FY2025), the column has "Text" as datatype.

Now, when I insert the year in a reference label, it autoformats to "2K" with no way to change it, since the column type is "Text". How do I get the whole number instead of the abbreviation?

@phelms2 , Based on what I got.  Once you select a series after adding label, you should be able to change format under values

@amitchandak

Actually, the issue is that the column format is "Text" - so I cannot change the format by default.

My "solution" was to change the column format in Power Query from "Text" to "Whole Number", load the data (with errors) into Power BI, change the format number on the reference label from "Auto" to "None" -> then go back to Power Query and delete the last format change and reload data into Power BI.

That solved my issue, but if the model is not in import mode, I could not do this hack. How do we get the developers attention towards this?
