Hi!
We are working on power bi connected to a redshift cluster using the default driver that comes within power bi, the simba driver odbc. We are experiencing really poor performance of queries comparing the execution time through power BI and sql workbench. Summarizing the same query takes 4 times more to run within power bi than on sqlworkbench using a jdbc driver.
Is it possible to replace the odbc driver, for the official redshift driver released by Amazon and keep the direct query working?
regards,
tks.

hi, @felipefrutuoso
After my test, I'm afraid it couldn't achieve in Power BI for now. You may try to transfer data by other data source. e.g. SQL.
And you could post your new idea in Power BI ideas and make this feature coming sooner.
Best Regards,
Lin
