Question about data refresh

Hi,

I didn't find any answer to this (simple question):

Is there a longer delay before data is transferree to the raport/visuals without pressing "Refresh" in PBI Desktop?

And yes, I know PBI Service data refresh etc., but just thought that is it necessary to press refresh every time when data changes in source. 

So the question is:

Do Power BI Desktop refresh the data itself, or should I do it manually time after time?

Hello @Anonymous ,

Power bi won't refresh the data if you didn't refresh it or if there wasn't a scheduled refresh or if it wasn't a direct query mode.
