Dear all
When I used my SQL query to extract data (just ~55,000 rows!) from Microsoft SQL management studio, the result pop out in 15 seconds. However, when I copy and paste the same codes in Power BI (import), it took 10 minutes or longer to return the same result in Power BI.
I have tried to reset to free my memory but in vain.
Are there any other reason(s) lead to this issue?
Please kindly help.

Hi @Anonymous ,
You could create a view in sql server to save your result. Then import this view in the Power BI.
You could also change your data connectivity mode ( Import --> Direct Query ).

Hi @Anonymous ,
Is there really no further difference?
Do you run both programs on the same computer?
