Query parameter not showing in Filter Rows window

Hi,

 

I created 2 query parameters RangeStart and RangeEnd but they are not showing in the Filter Rows window? any ideas why.

First check that you have set the data type for your parameters to Date.

If you still can't see them in the filter, then you can just pick a random date and manually edit the M code in the formula bar to replace the dates with RangeStart and RangeEnd.

Turn the formula bar on in the View tab in Power Query.

Thanks for the quick reply,

 

yes the issue was in the data type, the data type of the column is date/time/zone type, while the query parameter type is date/time this is why it was not showing correctly.
