Problem with circular dependency in two tables
Hello,
I have two tables as follow:
Table: Calendar
Column: "Date" which contains a formula "Calendar = CALENDARAUTO(3)"
Table: UK holiday
| Date | is_working_day |
| 01/04/2018 | 0 |
| 02/04/2018 | 0 |
| 03/04/2018 | 1 |
| 04/04/2018 | 1 |
| 05/04/2018 | 1 |
| 06/04/2018 | 1 |
| 07/04/2018 | 0 |
| 08/04/2018 | 0 |
| 09/04/2018 | 1 |
When I try to create a relationship and link by Date in both tables, I have a circular dependency problem. Is there a way to fix that?
Thanks,
Ricky
I've seen that circular dependency error before. When creating the relationship, select the UK Holiday table first (top of the relationship), and select the calculated Calendar table second.
Here's a pbix file with your sample data and the relationship created:
