In Power BI Desktop, I am trying to get web data via an HTTPS REST API using basic authentication. I enter the username/password in the data source settings but I consistently get this error message:
We encountered an error while trying to connect.
Details: "The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel."
I've tried clearing the permissions in the Data Source Settings, but that did not help.
The REST URL works fine in Postman. Any suggestions?

Clear the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) state. To do this, follow these steps:
