Presenting Matrix in Sequential Order

I have a matrix that returns data for a trailing 13 months. I need that data to show sequentally (December2016, January2017, Feburary2017...) instead of alphabrtically. Does that function exsist in power bi?

@Anonymous,

Do you use "Connect Live" mode to connect to SSAS database in Power BI Desktop?  In this case, sort by column is grayed out, and you need to sort the column in your original data source.

Regards,
Lydia

Presenting month names in sequential and not alphabetical order is a very common query easily found by searching, e.g. https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Month-Name-in-sorting-order/td-p/152006

Thank you but my Sort By Column selection in my Modeling interface is grayed out. How do change that so that I may sort accordingly.
