Power BI Datamart Integration in the Power BI Ecosystem - Radacad

Hello,

My name is Amari and we are trying to move from tableau to pwerBi. In tableau we create datasets on the tableau server that imports around 25 to 30 million rows of data in to a single data extract for our end users to build dashboards without wasting any time. Powerbi is having a rough time importing 5miliion rows in to a powerbi dataset. We use datasets to get our analysts closer to the data without knowing sql, so this crucial that we get this fixed because if not our teams can not move tools.

How do i solve for this issue?

@Anonymous The update today release Datamart which would be able to let you import data into Datamart, instead of using Dataset. Check it out with helpful links below

Dataflows are used to ingest, transform, integrate, and enrich big data by defining data source connections, ETL logic, refresh schedules, and more.
