PowerBI Desktop throws error while loading data from Get Data

Hi,

I am new to PowerBI and started exploring powerBI Desktop. I have successfully installed that in my machine. I have started my first step by using GetData -> txt/csv. I can Edit successfully and while Load, it is throwing a pop up with message "Unexpected Error - Could'nt load the model schema". Sharing the details from "Copy Details" here. Tried with Excel and ended up with the same issue.

 Couldn't load the schema for the database model:
Couldn't load the model schema associated with this report. Make sure you have a connection to the server, and try again.

It would be helpful if someone suggest me how to get rid of this issue.

@skiru,

What is the version of your Power BI Desktop? Do you connect through a VPN and run Power BI Desktop?

Regards,
Lydia

Thank You Lydia for your response.

@Anonymous

I am using latest version of powerBI Desktop for windows. Downloaded two days back from PowerBI web service(app.powerbi.com).

I haven't connected VPN. Just simply tried first time with connecting txt file.
