I have a data model which I've been working on over the last few months for which all data is sourced as Direct Query from an Oracle Database.
Everything was working fine, however starting yesterday it appears that when I click Refresh in PowerBI Desktop (to synchronise some updated columns) that the refresh does not complete.
If i'm lucky the first table in the queue shows as Waiting for other queries..., however the remaining ones all remain as Evaluating. I left this running overnight and it still didnt appear to progress.
I'm hoping you can suggest something I can do to resolve this?
Hi @sergej_og , I'm referring to the refresh button in the ribbon of PowerBI. (I've blanked out the names of the tables):
On my undestanding when you are in DQ you don´t need to refresh anything for DQ connections.
In DQ mode you have a connection to your Oracle database the whole time. Correct me if I´m wrong.
That is what I mean: there is no "refresh data"-Option (table connected to Oracle DB via DQ mode)
