Hi,

Thanks for the solution Bibiano_Geraldo , saud968  and rajendraongole1  offered, and i want to offer some more information for user to refer to.

hello @perweenshaz90 ,

1. Make sure there is no error in the new column

2.After creating the column, plese refresh the report in desktop by clicking 'refresh' button.

Hi @perweenshaz90

Ensure that the table containing the new column is loaded into the report. You can check this in the "Fields" pane of the Power BI report view or Table view.

Sometimes, the column might be hidden in the "Fields" pane. Right-click the table in the "Fields" pane and select Show Hidden to check if the column is marked as hidden.

Below are few options that might help you out

Check Data Model: Ensure that the new column is part of the data model you're using for the report. Sometimes, new columns need to be refreshed or reloaded into the report.

Field List: Verify that the new column is available in the field list of your report. If it's not, you might need to refresh the data connection.

Chart Configuration: Make sure you've added the new column to the appropriate axis or value field in your clustered bar chart. Sometimes, it might not be automatically included.

Data Type: Ensure that the new column's data type is appropriate for the chart. For example, if it's a numeric value, it should be recognized as such.

Filters: Check if there are any filters applied to your report that might be excluding the new column's data

Best Regards

Hi @perweenshaz90 - I hope in Power Query Editor, after you creating the column (add column), did you click Close & Apply to load the changes back to the data model? If not, go to Home > Close & Apply in Power Query Editor to apply the changes. In the Report View, locate the table where you added the column in the Fields pane.

or

you can also create a new measure in power bi desktop using dax function in table view.

Hope the above details helps.
