I am facing some issue building Decomposition tree visual in Power BI as my Data is not structured properly. So when i add teh data to visual it gives so many blanks. I filled down the data in the columns but that gives data mismatch for few rows. I really need some help. My data looks like this
And if i fill down the values it takes other initiative's epic and fills down to the new initiative and so on. im not quite understaning how to structure this.

Hi @RachanaN - if you are planning to use decomposition tree visual structuring your data properly is crucial for before using visual effectively in Power BI. Based on your description, it seems like you have hierarchical data where higher-level categories (like Initiative) should be associated with multiple lower-level items (like Epics). Filling down values can sometimes cause mismatches if not handled correctly.
Ensure that no blanks are left in the higher-level columns after the fill down operation. If necessary, use additional transformations to replace blanks or handle special cases.Verify the logical structure of your hierarchy in Power BI and ensure it matches the hierarchical relationships in your data.
Hope it helps
