Power Query: Transform Sample File not Reflecting

Okay, I did some manual editing - I admit it...

What could I have done wrong this time... I did my transformations and data cleansing in the "Transform Sample file from XXXXX" but it does not reflect in the main query... For example I removed some columns and added new custom one but those changes did not reflect...

Hahaha but I'm having fun actually but it's starting to worry me because I think I'm spending too much time on it already... I'm tempted to redo but that would take more time. Hopefully I could troubleshoot so I'll learn something.

When you remove or add columns in your dataset, it supposes to add steps in your Power Query like:

#"Removed Columns" = Table.RemoveColumns(#"Changed Type",{"Amount"})

or

#"Added Custom" = Table.AddColumn(#"Changed Type", "Custom", each 1)

How did you add/remove those columns? Can you share some screenshots with steps?

Sorry for not getting back to this, I can actually mark this as resolved now - the problem was the Function Name not being refered to properly i.e. mispelled. I'm able to get back on track.

My purpose was to gain more understanding on the M language. I came from a different platform I'm more of a VBA guy and when I started PowerBI it's just then that I appreciated DAX - it was the first thing I liked but later on M is gaining traction on my interest as well.

Basically I learn easily if I break something and then fixed it. Thanks for the response!
