Hi, I was an Excel user and recently trying to get into Power BI. I am having this irritating issue with Power Query autocomplete. For example when I write Table. it suggests some functions but when pressing Tab the function becomes TableTable.ToRows().
I have looked into this issue everyone says they find this troubling, especially Excel users like me but I have yet to find a solution.
Is there anything I can do to solve this issue and still keep my habit of writing dot(.) and then tab to autocomplete?
Thank you for your time.
Skipping the dot works. Thanks MPerry! What a stupid bug!
I heard something intresting about this. Skip the dot. Instead of typing "table.tor" for example to get it to suggest "Table.ToRows() . . . type "tabletor" without the dot. It totally worked for me. Credit to Leila Gharani for that stress reducer
Thanks mate. That worked.
That is something we have to live with while not fixed yet. That is an issue in both Excel and Power BI Desktop.
