Power Bi report embedded in Power Point - Slicer to influence all pages

Hi all, I need to embed some Power Bi visuals into a Power Point presentation.

Every month I will need to filter so that the data shown are only the data for the specific month.

I am wondering if there is a way I can put a slicer where I can choose the month I want and then all the visuals in all the pages of the Power Point presentation are influenced to show data for the selected month?

Thanks

Hi @Aria89
You can use a related date filter/slicer and as a default filter the report to last month.

No, it always will be the last month.
It was created for dynamic uses like your scenario 🙂

Hi @Aria89
If you using "embedded live data " as an export option, you have a refresh button that refreshes all reports' visuals.

Unfortunately, there is no way to do it automatically.

Thanks a lot for the response. If I do that, will I need to change the filter every month? And if so, will this be reflected to the Power Point report automatically? Thanks!

Hello, I am coming back to you for another question on that matter. I have implemented the solution you proposed and it's working fine! I have set up scheduled refreshes for my Power Bi Report which are working great. However, every time I open the Power Point, I need to refresh all the embedded visuals so that the latest data are shown. Is there a way that the embeded visuals in the Power Point are refreshed all together? Or get refreshed automatically?

Thanks!
