Power Bi Integration App Issue

Hello

I have a power app connected to my BI report using the PowerBI integration. I have 2 field that are used.

They both use this exact same code :

First([@PowerBIIntegration].Data).NOT_ID

First([@PowerBIIntegration].Data).TASK_SEQ_NUM

The TASK_SEQ_NUM works perfectly and will display in the app when selected in the BI Report, but the NOT_ID does not display in the app when a record in the BI report is selected.

Would anyone be able to help please? Have I done something silly?

Thank you

I think I have the same issue. A Power BI Report with a PowerApp visual >> connected to an existing Power App, and the data fields connected to the PowerApp are not syncing or data is not being displayed. The Power App only uses the filtered data from PowerBI and in this case, is not a data query for the PowerBI report.

What happened with your report? Were you able to get an solution?

My request for a follow up on your question from anyone else is -- Are there improvements to the PowerApp visual in Power BI that will allow for a more accurate passing of information into the PowerApp visual?

This is working as designed - within the current design limitations.

- only a PowerApp created from inside the visual can initiate a refresh of the "parent"  Power BI dataset.  All or nothing

- The PowerApp cannot (yet) serve as a data source for its Power BI "parent", whether static or dynamic.

I hope these design limitations will be lifted in the future.

Hi , @Pricey79

Are you referring to a BI report embedded in PowerApps?

There is a dropdown menu to select tiles in app.  Please check the dropdown menu again in your app to see if the corresponding tile is selected correctly.

By the way,  it is suggest to post your question on this PowerApps forum  to get more professional answers.
