Hi all,
When I try to export a report to PDF and it contains a map visual the Power BI app crashes.
I have tried the same report without the map visual and I don't have an issue.
This issue only happens while using the desktop app, the same report exports fine when using Power BI service.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Hi @AdamEffective22 ,
It worked fine when I exported to PDF in Power BI Desktop contained a map visual.
Ensure you are using the latest version of Power BI Desktop. Sometimes, bugs are fixed in newer releases.
There might be a corruption in the map visual also. Try deleting the existing map visual and recreating it from scratch.

Yes this fixed the issue I uninstalled power BI and noticed there was a new deskop app I was able to download, thanks for your help
Hi @AdamEffective22 -As a temporary workaround, you can export the report from Power BI Service, as you've noted that it works fine there. You can also try printing to a PDF printer directly from the Desktop app, which might bypass the issue.
If possible, try recreating the map visual from scratch. Sometimes, a corrupted visual or underlying data issue can cause the application to crash or you can use alternative export methods can help mitigate the issue. try to check with the latest installation of the pbi application too.
Hope it helps
