Hi,
I have Excel data in columns: species, weight, date, drug prescribed, and mg of product. If the species and weight are not completed, then Power BI won't read anything on the entire row. It's fine if any of the other columns are empty.
Any help to override/ stop this?

Hi all,
Thanks for your tips. Once in the power query, I could see it wasn't properly connecting to Excel. Once I removed and re- linked the data it was working fine!

Hi @alfie440 ,
Could you please provide some raw data in your tables (exclude sensitive data) with Text format and your expected result with backend logic and special examples. It would be helpful to find out the solution. You can refer the following link to share the required info:
How to provide sample data in the Power BI Forum
And It is better if you can share a simplified pbix file. You can refer the following link to upload the file to the community. Thank you.

Thanks for your understanding. Your time and cooperation are much valued by us. We are looking forward to hearing from you to assist further.

Hi @alfie440
can you share the example of Excel?
Hi @alfie440 - Power BI doesn’t inherently exclude rows unless there’s a filter or transformation applied in Power Query or the data source itself. To ensure that Power BI reads the rows even if the "species" and "weight" columns are empty, you can address this issue in Power Query when loading the data into Power BI.
remove the filter with 3 steps:
1. If a filter exists, click the gear icon next to the Filtered Rows step (or double-click the step).
2.Ensure that rows with null values in "species" and "weight" are not excluded.
3.If the step is unnecessary, delete it by clicking the "X" icon next to the step.
I hope this helps, if not please share some sample data still issue exist
