Additional Fields in Table for Export

Hi there,

I am working on a report to share with others in my organization. There are several tables that can be filtered using slicers that users can then export. Is it possible to add additional fields (hidden from the visualization) that can be exported? Right now I am condensing the column widths on the hidden fields, but that limits the usage of text wrapping in the rest of the table.

Thanks!

I assume that that you just want to hide the columns to beutify the visual, and you dont have to hide then for security?

Consider this method :-

Method 1  - Create 2 pages or 2  visuals tiles.

Then use the first tile for visual presentation without the extra columns,
and the second tile with the extra columns for excel download.
Note that you can shrink the second visual to a tiny size because you dont need to visual read columns, just allow them to be downloaded.

Method 2 - connect direct to dataset from excel.

Either give the user access to the dataset or datamart.

They can then connect Excel.
