Power BI embedded with custom application

Hello,

We have a requirement of developing power bi reports and then embedding them into an application. While doing that, we need to check the user logged into the application and as per his access, we need to filter the data present in that embedded reports. Can you please clarify my questions here.

  1. What kind of Power BI license do we need to embed reports into external application?
  2. How to embed reports? Using workspace or apps?
  3. How to use application user roles to be given to power bi embedded reports?

Kindly help. Thanks in advance.
