Power BI Desktop memory issues

Hi,

 

I'm experiencing memory issues in a 3MB pbix file. Only noticed issues since the September update. File either crashes, or visuals don't display (mainly matrix visuals) and I receive the following error:

My file contains 10 queries (pulling tables from an excel model - minimal transformation steps being performed in the pbix file). Clearing the cache helped for a short time, and I already unchecked the Background data.

Hi @dswatson,

 

Please update the Power BI desktop to October version 2.51.4885.543 64-bit (October 2017). If issue persists, please share your pbix file if possible.
