Power BI Desktop keeps asking to login when publishing report to web

Hi  All,

Not sure if I am the only one experiencing this but Power BI Desktop does not remember my credentials such that when I try to open an existing report or create a new one, the text on the upper right of the software shows "Sign in" and not my name. Oftentimes, it jus gets  stuck in the login dialogue box. I couldn't even send a frown because I couldn't do anything about the dialogue box other than end task Power BI.

A new version of Power BI Desktop has been released, please download it from the following link, and the issue should be fixed in this version.

Yes this seems to be the issue, there is another thread where it was mentioned. I'm going to add this in issue section if it is not already reported there.

by the way, if my memory serves me  right, this  started happening after installing Jan 2017 update.

You are absolutely correct, I also started experiencing the same problem after Jan 2017 update.
