Date Format changing automatically

In a dashboard with date slicer, app slicer and other tiles.

Flow of selected filter:

  1. Selected following Dates- "2016-01-01","2016-01-02","2016-01-03","2016-01-04"
  2. App slicer have two apps A and B: For app A we have data for all the 4 days selected, for app B we have data for only "2016-01-04"
  3. Selected app B from the slicer
  4. Now, in Date Slicer the format for date "2016-01-04" remained the same, but for the remaining 3 selected dates, the date format changed to: "Sun Jan 01 2017 00:00:00 GMT+0530(Indian Standard Time)", "Mon Jan 02 2017 00:00:00 GMT+0530(Indian Standard Time)", "Tue Jan 03 2017 00:00:00 GMT+0530(Indian Standard Time)"

Can't figure out the reason.

Tried changing the datatype of the column everywhere but, did not worked out well, recreated the dataset, and it started working fine.

@VipulSingh when you define data type for specified column in Edit Queries (Data pane), then the data type in slicer can't change.

There must be some inconsistency in data type design of column.

Regards.

Pavel

We had checked and reset the data type of the column, but still we are getting the same result.

In the specified example, if we select app A along with app B, the format becomes correct for all the 3+1 dates.
