Hey! beginner to Power Bi here. I'm having trouble with a date table/column.
As you can see here, the Date column doesn't have the calendar icon.
The data type is set to "Date", I have the "auto date/time for new files" selected, and haven't made any relationships with other table's date column.
I'm looking to get this scenario where I have a Date Hierarchy:
Thanks in advance :)!
Solved! Go to Solution.
Under File -> Options and settings -> Options
Look under CURRENT FILE -> Data Load
Ensure the Auto date/time option is ticked:
Your dim Dates table must contain a contiguous date column, formatted as Date type.
There is also a setting under GLOBAL if you want this setting to apply to all new files:
Under File -> Options and settings -> Options
Look under CURRENT FILE -> Data Load
Ensure the Auto date/time option is ticked:
Your dim Dates table must contain a contiguous date column, formatted as Date type.
