Hello
I have a scenario where one data model must be used by multiple reports(i.e. all reports based on one star)So now if I publish the report which has complete data model and if another person creating another report of the same star needs the same data model. How to use that?
I tried getting data using the "get data --> power bi dataset",but apart from the owner of the report other people cant create any column or measure and tables from it. Also, any changes made in the original datamodel, even if I refresh those changes are not updated in other reports which are created from that model.
Can anyone guide me how to resolve this?
Thankyou in advance.

Hello @Anonymous ,
So either you build the main data Model then do copies for everyone that will build his visuals alone.
or use the connect to power bi dataset but they can't create columns or measures, so you should prepare everything and if they needed anything new you could create it and they refresh their power bi file and it should show.

Correct me if im wrong.
The owner creating data model, must create columns or measures needed and refresh his report. Then the other people who used that data set will automatically get updated those columns or measures.
