Power BI Azure map visual is not working properly

I am usng Azure map visual, i am using latitude and longitude as coordinates.

I want to filter the vaules using 10 latitude and 10 longitude data point, i am using Selection feature to select that data point, i am getting less data example 3000 rows, but at 10 latitude and 10 longitude data point we have 6000 rows of records,  when i am using normal slicer to filter this i am getting 6000 rows but when i am using selection feature i am getting less data,

This issue persist both in Power BI Desktop and Power BI service .
How to resolve this issue and what are the causes of this issue.

Hi  @Shivakumarh
Thank you for the update.

The difference in row counts between the Azure Maps visual’s selection tool and slicer-based filtering occurs due to Power BI’s data reduction and rendering limits. To optimize performance, the Azure Maps visual applies high-density sampling and aggregation, meaning only a subset of data points is rendered especially when large volumes of data share similar coordinates. As a result, the selection tool only acts on the points currently displayed on the map, while slicers filter data directly at the model level, returning all matching rows. This explains why slicer filtering shows 6,000 rows, whereas map selection returns fewer (e.g., 3,000).
You may also notice a small blue “i” icon in the top-right of the visual indicating that not all data is shown. This confirms that data reduction has occurred. To ensure accurate row counts, use slicers or filters instead of map selection, or aggregate your data (e.g., by latitude, longitude, or region) to reduce point density.

For more details, you can refer to the official documentation on Azure Maps visual in Power BI and Power BI visual data point limits.

I hope this information is helpful. . If you have any further questions, please let us know. we can assist you further.

Thank You.

@v-karpurapud Still i am facing the same issue, can you tell what are the limitations of azure map visual in detail and data points means rows or latitude and longitude locations,
can you provide me the learn documents which talks about the Azure map visuals and its limitations.

All visuals have limits on the number of data points they will render for you.  Doesn't matter if you have 6000 or more rows - there is no way for the visual to render them.  You will observe a little blue "i"  icon in the top right corner indicating as much.

I am using selection feature in azure map to select a data point where latitude and logitude are 10 and i am getting less number of rows example i am having 1000 rows near 10 latitude and 10 longitude i am getting only 3000 rows . if i am trying to filter data using slicer i am getting exact 10000 rows.
