Power Automate Visual cannot retrieve values

Hello everyone,

I have been trying to use the Power Automate visual on power bi to automate data exports and it hasn't been working properly.

When trying to edit the visual, I get authenticated. However, when using connectors, I get the following error :

Could not retrieve values. The dynamic invocation request failed with error: {"status":403,"source":"https://canada-001.token.azure-apim.net:443/tokens/canada-001/excelonlinebusiness/shared-excelonline...","message":"Error from token exchange: Permission denied due to missing connection ACL: User = d7fef855-35b9-497d-a342-d52caace27d2@79c919de-5233-4ab5-935a-81cad4bb2b57 appid=d2450708-699c-41e3-8077-b0c8341509aa, connection=canada-001/excelonlinebusiness/shared-excelonlinebu-af3560c9-b919-492a-9fd3-b4ba3cb26c62"}.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The same thing happened to me and my friends yesterday.

Same for me. This just started happening yesterday. I can neither connect successfully to PowerAutomate nor to PowerApps through PowerBI.

I have the same issue as you.

I'm trying to use the Power Automate Visualization tool to set a trigger to export a paginated report. I get the error when I try to select the drop down menu under "Workspace".

It seems the connection is dead.

As I troubleshooted this, I realized I do not get this error when doing it through power automate's website, only in Power BI's - PA visualization tool.   I think it might have to do with the connection on the Power BI's side. However I tried re-connecting using the "Add new connection" from the 3 circles located on the top right of the PA flow box but to no avail. No idea what is causing this, it just happened overnight

I found a work around for this in my situation.

Since it only works on the website (power automate). I created the trigger in power bi then saved it and then continued to work on it in the power automate website.

My issue with this solution is that the power automate data (data put into the visual) doesn't get exported with the flow once you inititiate the trigger. Have you found any solution around that ?

Here's what i mean :

All of the data I added to the power automate visual is not available in the power automate platform.

So I had that issue where my variables were not loading when doing it from the power automate website, however when I jumped back into power bi desktop and was able to load the dynamic variables there.

So basically I had to go from Power Bi -> Power Automate -> Power Bi to complete my flow.

Hopefully this helps

Amazing solution. Thanks a lot.
