Hello,
I'm trying to find a method/visualization to enable the generation of a tabular report having a parent-child relationship. This is to report on dynamics365 data such as Quote-Quote Details or Order-Order Details.
I have the data connection working and the data model correctly and am able to create a flat list containing all my required fields just not as formated required.
Report/visualization requirment is...
Quote 1 Field1 Field2 Field3 Field4
Quote Details 1 Field1 Field2 Field3 Field4
Quote Details 2 Field1 Field2 Field3 Field4
Quote 2 Field1 Field2 Field3 Field4
Quote Details 1 Field1 Field2 Field3 Field4
Quote Details 2 Field1 Field2 Field3 Field4
and so on.
I do not need any summation or calc at the either the parent or child level, just the means to present the data as shown above.
Is this possible in PowerBI natively or with a add-on?
Many thanks.
J

You may try the Matrix visual.
I thought the Matrix Visualizer would have worked, but given you asked for no summation or calc (aggregation), and instead, just want to display parent and child field values independently from one another . . . I don't think this is possible with the Matrix Visualizer. Maybe someone else on this board can suggest alternative approaches?
You may try the Matrix visual.
