Paginated Report passing parameter in Union Query

Hi Friends,

I am building a Paginated reporting sourced from PowerBI dataset. I am trying to union to create a sepearte entry for total. The query works fine if I pass parameter in only 1 table i.e the 1st summarize. If I try to pass parameter in the second summarize, it doenst work. Anyone has an idea hot to make this work?

To make it simple, assume this is data

TypeValue
a10
b20
c30

I want to create a dataset like this. (creating a dummy type called other and passing the total value)

TypeValue
a10
b20
c30
Other60

Query: (Group Name is the column I am trying to filter for)

EVALUATE
UNION(

SUMMARIZECOLUMNS(
'REF_DETAILS'[Type],
FILTER(VALUES(REF_MAPPING[GroupName]),REF_MAPPING[GroupName] = @PR1)
"Value", [Value], )

,

SUMMARIZECOLUMNS(
"ColumnTitle","Other",
FILTER(VALUES(REF_MAPPING[GroupName]),REF_MAPPING[GroupName] = @PR2)
"Value", [Value] )
)

Thanks

Mohinder

Hi @Anonymous ,

You can try formula like below:

Table 2 =
VAR row_ =
    ROW ( "Type", "Other", "Value", SUM ( 'Table'[Value] ) )
RETURN
    UNION ( 'Table', row_ )
