Page level filter

Hi guys,

I have Year slicer on every page in my pbix. How to default the Year slicer on certain page to be autoselected to current year ? 

I noticed there is Page level filters, so I put Year on that filter but I don't know what to put for current year.

You may try Using the relative date range filter.

You can create a calculated column with always marking current year value as "Current Year" and rest of year values as it is. Logic to mark current year as "Current Year" text value can be based on max value. Then bring this column as page level filter and keep "Current Year" always selected.

There is no way we can keep current year value selected by default in power bi filter or slicer as of now.

Yes, I thinking the same, however I think it's not worth the effort, since we still need to choose and keep the value, in that case might as well just let user to pick through the Year selection (either in the slicer or in page level filter-Year) and select the current year.

How about Parameter, can we make use of that ? but as I know, parameters effect data source wise, so it will be the whole page.
