Hii @neelpatel29
In Power BI Treemap, there is no option to change data label orientation (vertical/horizontal). Label placement is automatically handled by the visual based on available space, and text may be truncated if the tile is small. You cannot manually rotate or reposition labels. To improve visibility, increase visual size, reduce category count, adjust text size in Format >> Data labels, or use Tooltip to show full values.
Hi,
Currently in Microsoft Power BI, the Tree Map visual does not provide an option to control the orientation (vertical/horizontal) of data labels.
Key Points
Workarounds
If label readability is critical, a different visual type may provide better clarity than the default Tree Map.
Hope this helps.
Thanks!

Thank you all for your valuable support.

Hi @neelpatel29 ,
No, we cannot control those properties in the Treemap visual. And while there are options to set the values to the lowest point size or resize the visual to be large, I do not think these will aid you much. If I were to suggest, I would perhaps suggest a different visual altogether. Tree maps are notorious for making the end user compare the sizes of rectangles which a human brain cannot do with precision ( basically if the categories are apart by a few figures then user won't be able to figure out which is larger). Length, position and color(when sparsely used) are generally better because they are intuitive to human brain. I would probably create something as follows:
(A few adjustments in the above visual(Stacked bar chart): Region appears in the Y-axis to provide hierarchy to the categories and in the Legend to add color coding. The Expand all down one level in the hierarchy was clicked at top right of the visual. Total labels are used instead of the Data labels. Under Visual>Y-axis, Concatenate labels was turned off).
I would probably do a few tweaks with that visual but this should give you a general idea of what I am proposing.
Hope it helps!
You cant change it. You could use an other solution...for example a Donut / pie chart. or.. stacked bar.
Regards!
No, unfortunately the native Tree Map visual does not allow you to control label orientation (horizontal/vertical) or force full text wrapping inside tiles. I would suggest resizing your visual.
